Reviewing what I have previously written, I note that I had identified this blog as being a place where friends and family could read my musings (rants and so on). But the reality, as I now perceive it, is that I haven't the temerity to give them this URL.
I've been more honest, it would seem, than I am comfortable with.
I just deleted two rather sizable paragraphs. Some things are best left unsaid.
